Students in Chicago aren't going to school? This is all because of the Teacher strike in Chicago. Teachers are saying that they are not getting paid enough money.
I don't support the teacher strike because while they are striking a lot of childrens are missing school, and later on the student are going to be the ones that have to work extra hard to recover the time they miss. One thing that i don't understend about the strike is that they are striking because they want to get more money but while they are striking they aren't getting paid(not getting money), so what is the point? The strike its not only hurting them but also its hurting the students and other school workers. Students are in the streets,when they are supposed to be in school learning, they are also hurting other workers because of the teachers not teaching the schools are being closed.The strike also hurt the students in the way that its going to take them longer to graduate.
I don't think that going on a strike is going to solve anything, one thing that they could do is ask every teacher to sign a petition.They can find more options or ways to protest with out hunting the students education or the work of others. What do you think about the teacher strike? Do you oppose or support the strike?
